Chris Armsden

Chris Armsden is a supervisory member of Crossroads and the Founder & CEO of the animation company: Rising Star Creative. Chris is originally from the United Kingdom but has lived in many countries around the world including USA, New Zealand, Argentina, Turkey and, of course, Taiwan. Chris has spent his career working on animation, VFX and software for movies including Harry Potter, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda 2, Avengers, The Hobbit and Avatar 2. This is his second time living in Taiwan. The first was in 2015 where he was the Head of Production Technology for Next Media Animation. He returned in 2019 and started his company in 2020.
Rising Star Creative is a full-service animation and creative studio that combines storytelling with the transformational power of moving images. The company has worked on a wide range of projects including Government (Taiwan Gold Card introduction animation), B2B and B2C marketing and even NFT’s.
When not at work, he’s usually found hiking, scuba diving, taking photos of bugs or giving workshops at Universities around Taiwan.
