Owen Lu is the investor relations manager of Lootex, an NFT/GamiFi platform. Prior to this, he was the co-founder & COO of a tutoring platform, TUTEEMI. Born in Taiwan and move to Canada when he was 15. Moved back to Taiwan in 2019.
Prior to moving back to Taiwan, Owen was working in the non-profit sector serving newcomers, refugees and minorities, helping them to integrate into the Canadian society. Later move into metal health sector, supporting children with in the prevention of self-harm and suicidal ideation.
With his background in international relations and his passion with education, his career has been focused on education and supporting minorities. Hoping to close the gaps and removing barriers between them and the society.
Owen is now working in the Web 3.0 sector, which is a completely new field for him, however he strongly believes that will be the future. There will be a place for him to continue his passion in education in this new form of internet and the new form of society. A society without borders and free of prejudice.
